Human Resources & Professional Standards

Anilin Collado, Missioner for Human Resources, oversees personnel matters such as compensation and benefits, and ensures that all applicable general and diocesan convention resolutions, state and federal laws are met.

Specific areas of ministry concentration include but are not limited to:

    Hiring to Termination Procedures and Guidelines, Forms and Publications In General
    Active Clergy and Lay Employee Benefits Program and Compliance
    Early Retirement Guidelines, Procedures and Benefits
    Retired Clergy and Lay Benefits Program
    Retired Clergy Spouse Benefits Program
    Clergy Survivor Benefits Program

In area of active or retired clergy and lay benefits, the diocese is supported by the Bishop's Benefit Insurance Committee, comprised of 25 representatives from churches, schools and other institutions of the diocese.

The Rev. Pam Tyler, professional standards officer, implements policy and education programs concerning prevention of sexual misconduct and harassment, as well as child abuse prevention. Tyler works closely with the Bishop to investigate any allegations of misconduct; provides pastoral support for all parties to any such investigation; and, when necessary, implements disciplinary procedures as provided in church canon law.
