Deaneries of the Diocese
The Diocese of Los Angeles is divided into 10 geographical areas known as deaneries. Each of these deaneries includes between 12 and 20 congregations. Each is led by a Dean, a clergy member serving at one of the member churches, and a president, a lay parishioner.
Two delegates from each deanery--one clergy and one lay--serve on Diocesan Council, which is the fiscal and program authority for the diocese between meetings of Diocesan Convention.
